Active plasmonics: plasmonic sources and detectors
A 4 years PhD project is available from 1 September 2009. This joint project with Imperial College London is co-sponsored by EPSRC and INTEL within the UK research programme on Active plasmonics.

June 2009
"Applied Plasmonics worshop" has taken place in Amsterdam.

EPSRC have announced £6 million funding for the UK research programme on plasmonics "Active plasmonics" involving scientists from the Centre for Nanostructured Media and Imperial College London. The project is also supported by INTEL, Seagate, Ericsson, Oxonica, IMEC and the National Physics Laboratory. The project is led by Professor Anatoly Zayats. Professor Stefan Maier leads the Imperial College team.
